So all the months I do symptom checking and it always turned out to be super awful pms. This was the month we gave up and figured it just wasn't in the cards for us. Our TTC story began June 2016- got pregnant right after our honeymoon only to end in miscarriage in August 2016. My insurance was awful and no doctor would do any testing until 10 weeks- I miscarriaged before that. We cried and then realized if it was that easy the first time then we'll try again- and again- and again. 1 year later we gave up. A few weeks ago (about 5 days before AF) I realized I had NO PMS symptoms. I was a little tired, but I also work crazy hours so that happens sometimes. A couple days later my bbs were so swollen and painful I couldn't even wear a bra. I went to work and everything smelled like metal and gasoline. I was crazy nauseous. So I bought a hpt and went to the gym after work and sure enough- a faint line. It was a store brand blue dye test so I wanted to be sure and bought more of the wondfo tests. Day of AF due I took one and it was a faint positive!!! 24 hours later after a strenuous work day I took a nap, woke up with the WORST back pain of my life and sure enough started to spot. I figured that was it and I was out. Over the next 24 hours I bled through a tampon and a pad and then it was gone and done. A couple days later I was super sick to my stomach and my salad didn't agree with me. My bbs were bursting out of my bra and I was getting some back and abdominal twinges. On a hunch, I took another test and it was a faint positive! Called the dr to confirm and expected the worst- that the hcg just hadn't left my system yet. She said everything was good and looked healthy! Going in for a scan in a couple weeks to make sure all is well and to find out how far along I am since my cycles have been so wonky, but she thinks I'm 5 weeks along now. Baby dust to everyone. Don't give up!!
