My 1st BFP!! Finally!!

Funny story actually, I found out about my pregnancy Sunday night at work. I told my coworker how I haven't gotten my period and I was 4 days late and I was tired sleepy and had slight breast tenderness. He insisted that I was pregnant and he had suspected it all along. He suggested I take a pregnancy test so he went out and bought me one and sure enough it was a Bfp! My partner and I weren't actively trying, we were more on the "if it happens it happens" side but if not that's perfectly fine with us. I really wanted to post my story because this site gave me hope when I felt completely incapable of conceiving. I know everyone hates to here this but don't focus too much on ttc because you'll just stress yourself out and prolong the wait for a baby. It seems that people are so focused on getting pregnant that they forget to enjoy themselves in their most intimate moments.

Now time for the symptoms; I didn't really have any symptoms just the usual pms symptoms. I had breats tenderness but it went away around the time my period was due then came back just a little tender. I had no cramps whatsoever except for maybe one time but it was super mild and only for about a minute. I had some nausea but only for one day and it was on the drive back home from Halloween horror nights and that was weird for me because I never get car sick. Ever! Other than that there's no nausea, no morning sickness, nothing. The tale tell sign was no Aunt Flo and that's a little strange for me because I am very consistent on my cycle, every 5th of the month. My only thought was maybe it's changing but that's unlikely because my cycle usually changes once a year and the that's around the spring or summer time.(I never noticed that until daddy to be pointed it out a couple years ago) I did have some sort of spotting on the 7th it was just a little bit of red on the toilet paper as I wiped so I put a pad on thinking aunt flo was here and nothing. I had my suspicions about being pregnant but didn't think too much of it until I took the test.

I just wanted to give a little info about me incase some of you ladies can relate to my story, I'm 19 I've been with daddy to be for 3 1/2 years. I have regular 30-31 day cycles (every 5th of the month). We were not using and form of birth control except for the pull out method (most of the time at least). I was not taking any fertility drugs or doing any of the old wives tales i.e. lay on your back with hips up ontop of a pillow etc. I wish you ladies ttc the best of luck and baby dust to you all! Hope you found my story hopeful. Thanks for reading and feel free to ask any questions! :)

Chronic spotter. BFP.

Hello ladies.
I've been wanting to write my story for a while since I know there could be others out there like me.
I'm 32 / H is 37
We decided we were going to try at the beginning of 2014 so we went right for the serious stuff. Ovulation sticks, you name it.
Months went by and nothing was happening. Now, mind you, I'm a chronic spotter. I would start spotting 3,4,5 DPO!!! and it wouldn't stop until a full blown period. This would happen every single month. I'm very regular (cycle is 27 days in average). I also have a thyroid condition which has been properly managed since I was 16. But of course, this added to my paranoia. After several months doing the deed with nothing happening, I kept googling "BFP with spotting" in the hopes I could find encouragement.
I also did some preliminary blood tests and they came out fine.
At one point, I grew so desperate I began the SMEP process, I added Preseed AND on the final month, I started taking Vitamin B6 as I read it helped with spotting.

Nothing before 6DPO
6DPO saw orange/pink blood that resembled breakthrough (I'm thinking implantation! but this has happened so many times I don't even think about it)
7DPO nothing
8DPO another breakthrough of pinkish/orange blood (weird!)
9DPO a bit of spotting, almost nothing
10DPO more pinkish blood
11DPO nothing
12DPO I stay up until the wee hours of the morning googling spotting like EVERY month. Decided to take a late night test. FAINT POSITIVE
13DPO STRONGER BFP!

I've never read anything like this on any forum so maybe it will help someone.
I must say, I usually spot dark brown (for the most part) with a few reds here are there. This time it was mostly pink/red.
I also kept spotting for weeks after my BPF (mostly brown and stringy) and was put on threatened miscarriage. My uterus was bloody inside, according to the ultrasound. I just stopped spotting at about 4.5 weeks of pregnancy and everything looks fine.
I'm seven weeks pregnant now and hoping for a sticky bean.

Good luck, spotters. There is hope!

BFP CD 41 with BFN CD 33!

DF and I have been TTC for about a year now. Every month it's the same thing. I get every pregnancy symptom in the book and convince myself I'm pregnant only to get countless BFNs and eventually AF always shows her ugly face. It's been really heartbreaking trying so hard month after month only to realize it may not ever be in the stars for us.

This month I was sure to not get my hopes up. DF and I BD'd very frequently (as we do every other month). One night I slept with a pillow under my butt because I was that desperate to find something, anything, that may help. I also started taking vitamin d3 everyday which is supposed to be extremely good for fertility.

When AF didn't show up CD 28, I wasn't too concerned as I frequently have irregular cycles. 26 days one month, 34 the next, etc. I waited until CD 33 to take my first test with first morning urine. Another BFN. I was certain I was out. I was feeling like AF was just around the corner and I was just ready to get it over with and move on to the next month! But AF never came, I spotted a few days but it was very dark almost brown, and only tinged in CM... Never fresh blood. DF and I decided it was time today (CD 41) to re-test. This afternoon I took the test and less than 1 minute later a BFP- clear as day!

The month has been almost symptom-less. Except for this past week, in which my BBs have grown incredibly tender, and BIG! Had period like cramps all week. Even got the heating pad out one night cramps got so bad. Also, had a hard time getting out of bed in the morning. Just couldn't get enough sleep ever! Took naps during the day a few times and had really vivid dreams (one about getting bfp). Looking back this week, I even cried at dinner one night because I missed my mom.

Still have trouble believing its true! Can't wait start this incredible journey into motherhood!

4 years TTC, 3rd IUI with injectables

Like many of the ladies on this site, getting able to post here seemed like a distant dream. I will try to sum up our story as much as I can, given over the past 4 years we have certainly gone through a lot. We started TTC in November 2010, and after a full year of trying with no success, we decided to seek help from a fertility specialist. My husband was tested and came back with low sperm count, so immediately the fertility doctor said we needed to go straight to IVF. We weren't ready to go down that path yet, so we decided to take a break from the doctor route and continue to try on our own. A year after that, I started seeing a nurse midwife who specialized in pelvic massages and manipulation to help with the uterus. First, my periods were much improved after my sessions. The therapist recommended a fertility doctor who she felt would really listen to our situation and not immediately resort to IVF unless that was our last option. We started seeing him and he wanted to try a few IUI cycles to see how I would respond to it. The first cycle I took Clomid, and my husband's post wash count was 4 mil. No success. The second cycle I went on the Gonal F injectable, and my husband's post wash count was only 1 mil. No success. On our third go around, i went back on the Gonal F, and his post wash count was 2 mil. We also BD'd the day after the IUI in hopes to increase our chances. On CD 23, I started to experience my typical pre-menstrual spotting, so immediately felt I was out. I have been a spotter for the past three years, and no doctor has ever been able to tell me why or has seemed concerned (I have always been concerned about it). Two days later, the spotting was almost gone and I started feeling crampy and really bloated. I tested on CD 27 when the spotting was completely gone, and got my first BFP ever! I have had two blood tests already confirming the pregnancy as well as my HCG rising numbers. I am praying for a healthy pregnancy as it has been such a long journey to get here. I believe in God's plan and prayed every night that He give me the strength to have patience in His plan. Not that it was ever easy, or that I didn't have meltdowns every month Aunt Flo showed up. This site has been my go-to for hope and comfort over the years.

Ok, so my symptoms have been on and off cramping (exactly like menstrual cramps), bloated, dizziness, sore boobs (these started while I was taking the Gonal F and have only subsided a little) and constipated. To be honest, ever since I found out, I have not felt great at all physically but we are over the moon that we are here and are hoping for the best! My prayers and best wishes to everyone out there reading this. It does happen when it's supposed to, as cliche as it sounds.

BFP after 14 years of trying (fibroids, spotting, acupunture and de-stressing)

Long story short:

I am 37. Have tried to get pregnant since I was 23. I've been pregnant once when 33. Found out then miscarried two days later.

My reproductive existence on this planet has basically been a complete failure. My family and friends even stopped asking my husband and I about the status. Although I try, I never really expected to be able to have children. Just kind of an accepted fact.

Went through Bariatric surgery (VSG) in March. Lost 75 lbs. (262 to 186. I am 5'7"). I feel a ton better and am a million times healthier than ever before.

This summer I met two people that swore by acupunture. So I tried it for a month in September/October. I noticed my spotting was less immediately. (I have a fibroid that always causes brown spotting). I liked it, but stopped four weeks ago because I couldn't get an appointment at the right times. I was planning to restart next cycle.

Talked to my OB last month and told her that I get obsessed with the "getting pregnant" process and it's like my head invents symptoms. "I'm a really down to earth person and I just feel absolutely insane..." She laughed and told me she was even crazy during the process, "and I'm a gynecologist!" That made me feel better. She said something that made more difference than anything else has: "pregnancy is hard on your body. If your body senses stress in any way, it won't allow the pregnancy. I want you to do anything and everything you can to relax yourself. Take baths, read, blow off cooking and cleaning a bit. (But use those opk tests!)"

And that's what I did. Baths. Reading. Movies. Game nights with friends.

And something this month was weird. My usual spotting from day 10 to day 28 didn't happen. (I didn't think anything of it). And on day 28 I took my usual "Baby" Dollar General pregnancy test to confirm for the 100th+ time I wasn't pregnant...and the joke was on me. Have kept taking the $1 tests for three days now and the lines are getting darker, which should mean HCG is increasing. I will call the doc tomorrow.

Ladies, if it can happen to me, it can happen to ANYONE. Really.

BFP 10 dpo, TTC#2

I'm 29, DH 31. I posted on here two years ago when I conceived DS. I feel so very blessed to be pregnant again! It took 6 months to get pregnant with DS; I was convinced that it just took my body a while to get back to normal after being on BC for 6 years straight. I did not go on BC after having DS for this very reason, I did not want anything to hinder our chances when we were ready for #2. Because of this I thought it would happen right away this time around. Well...four months later we got a BFP. I always hear about women that get a BFP first cycle trying or women that need fertility drugs to conceive, it seems I don't hear a lot of the in between. I'm just average I guess.

I temp'd, used OPKs, preseed and drank grapefruit juice. I swear the grapefruit juice helps. I drank it the month before and the month of conceiving DS. Again I drank it last month and this month (when I got my BFP). It seems to change the consistency of my period, makes my lining "healthier". I had less days of spotting before my period last month and when it did come it was more red, less brown.

With DS, I had no symptoms before getting a BFP. This time I had spotting 5dpo-7dpo. I had dizzy spells 7dpo-8dpo which was so very strange, I told my husband this had to mean something. But I got BFN's 7dpo, 8dpo, and 9dpo. At 9dpo I had absolutlely no symptoms and convinced I was out again. I am a poas addict so of course I tested on 10dpo anyway with my supply of dollar store tests. I stared at it for 5 mins, BFN. Went to take a shower. Looked at it again when I got out. The faintest of faint lines showed up! Showed DH and he agreed there was a line! Over the next few days I continued to test with dollar store tests and the lines keep getting darker (even the dark lines took a while to show up). Also confirmed with a digital at 11 dpo.

For those of you that stare at a test well beyond the time frame or go back to check the test later. You are not crazy! Those dollar store tests sure seem to take longer to show positive than they did when I had DS two years ago. Good luck to you all!

I think that I am still in complete shock. After 18 months of trying, I finally got to see what a real BFP looks like! It was the weirdest feeling to actually see that second line show up....a REAL one. There were so many times that I held a test up to the light, squinting and really thinking that I saw one, only for my husband to have to tell me that it was stark white....yet again!

I'm 33 and my husband is 35. Oh my goodness, I am someone who constantly is researching to try new things. I guess it made me feel like I was actually DOING something rather than just waiting. I've been going to acupuncture for the last 6 months (which has been awesome, if anything it relaxed me....not sure if it got me to my bfp), drank a fertility blend tea, also drank red raspberry tea and nettle tea, convinced my husband to try different positions that I'd read about, used Preseed before having sex, propped my legs up for 15 mins or so after sex (which felt ridiculous!), added more iron to my diet (recommended by my acupuncturist), upped my exercise routine (although not to the point of strenuous exercise, just more weights, some yoga, and walking), ate pinneapple during ovulation time, used ovulation tests, temped regularly...the list could go on! I also had finally given in and started to get all of the tests done....

Honestly, I really can't tell you that I relaxed more (I really hate it when people say that don't you??) because I really didn't! I have no idea what was different about this month at all. But, I will say that everything that I was doing did make me feel focused and my body and mind are a lot healthier than when we started trying 18 months ago. I also just had an HSG done last month, so I guess I'm one of those people who you read about that gets an HSG and falls pregnant!

It's funny, because I did what I normally do at 9 dpo and told myself that I was out. Why? Because my temp significantly dropped that day (I guess possible implantation dip?), but then it went up the next day....and then stayed high....until 14 dpo. For those who want to know, my temps were:

9 dpo: 36.64 celsius
10 dpo: 36. 93 celsius
11 dpo: 36.74 celsius
12 dpo: 36.8 celsius
13 dpo: 36.87 celsius
14 dpo: 36.85 celsius BFP

The only symptoms that made me feel that this might be "it" is that I had a bit of spotting around 11 dpo (which I never get that early) and my temps were still high (they usually start to fall around 12/13 dpo) That's really it! I have sore boobs, but they feel like what I've had every month and I have cramps here and there, but again, they really feel like period cramps, so this wasn't a true "sign" for me.

I got my bfp yesterday morning and last night I was out with friends for dinner (all moms) and they were all complaining about how they're so afraid EVERY month to get pregnant because they are SO fertile! In fact, they are trying to get their husbands to have surgery so that they don't have to worry. They also spent a majority of the night complaining about their kids! It was the first time that I actually wasn't feeling upset inside (while smiling on the outside of course right??!), thinking, geez I would give anything to be too fertile and I long to be tired because I have a kid! In fact, I'm tearing up just writing this, because I just really never thought that I'd ever have that feeling go away!

If anything that this process has taught me, it's that I'm going to try and embrace every moment and be thankful....and I'm really going to try very my very best not to complain! Keeping this secret is going to be so hard so thank you for letting me at least tell you! I hope that my little baby sticks! Best of luck to everyone, I know how difficult this process is!

Well a bit of a surprize to find out I can actually still get pregnant at this age! Have always tracked my cycles so I knew I still ovulated but after having an ovary and fallopian tube removed 8 years ago and being told there was scarring on the other did not think it was possible. Only stopped using contraception at the end of last year and really didn't think it was possible.

Every month from ovulation on (I get quite bad ovulation pains lasting around 6-12 hours) I get lots of symptoms. My breast start to hurt straight away which get worse during the next 13 days leading up to AF as well as increase in size, firmness and pinker, firmer nipples. All this then disappears and spotting starts followed by AF 1 1/2 days later.

This month. Only BD once and didn't think I was ovulating but had very mild (much milder than normal) ovulation type cramp a few hours after which didn't last long at all.

Sore breasts didn't kick in until 5 dpo and were not as sore as normal. The sore breasts then disappeared around 10 dpo again.

No symptoms or nausea at all. A bit tired which I always am.

Being a peeing on a stick addict I started testing around 7dpo and got a few indents as always then by 10 they were stark white.
On the evening of 10 DPO I noticed a small amount of spotting in my underwear which had a bit of red blood in it (not usual it normally is tan/brown/pink). Did not think a lot of it as the breast pain had gone and my spotting had occasionally started this early. Next morning on panty liner there was a few bronze coloured streaks. darker than normal but was sure AF was en route. I even stopped testing day 10 as was sure I was out. As the day went on it became watery light pink but only on wiping.
12dpo the spotting became even less and I thought this is a bit strange. Boots had a 2 for 1 deal on FRER's so bought 2 packs for my next cycle. When that evening the spotting had all but stopped and I had a bit of a hot flash I decided to use my Frer and there was a faint but definite light line. I honestly thought I was imagining things so next morning 13dpo when AF was due and still no sign I used another and the line was more obvious. That afternoon I got a positive on a clear blue weeks digital :-)

This month I was particularly busy and although I took my temp I missed lots of days, didn't use OPK's and missed most of my vitamins so cant explain why this month it happened when the months I put the most effort in it didn't? If it can happen to me at my age it can happen to any of you. Baby dust to all x

FINALLY after years of trying and "not trying"

After being addicted to these symptoms and BFP stories I FINALLY get to share mine!!! We decided to "not try, not prevent" after so much obsessing over dates, times, and symptoms. So, I wasn't symptom spotting unless something really stuck out to me. I have an avg 29-31 day cycle and usually O on cd 12 or 13. I did not use OPK this cycle or temp. I just went based off of cm.

I'm 28 and have been trying for years. I was starting to worry that it wasn't going to happen for us. We're normal middle class people so IVF was out of the question and I've heard too many horror stories about Clomid. If it was going to happen for us it was going to happen naturally.

Holy crap on a cracker - BFP!

Long-time lurker first-time poster here! I feel like I can now finally "give back" to all the ladies in this wonderful community who have kept my spirits up every month. You all have so much strength and optimism and I sincerely admire you and am grateful for the support.

Short back story: I'm 29, happily married 4 years, regular 28-day(ish) cycles but with lots of spotting during the TWW since I was 24 (had a pregnancy then that was terminated, long story for another day). Prior to that pregnancy I had perfect cycles without spotting - I never really understood what changed. Even birth control didn't control the spotting. I saw an OB about it and they didn't find anything so I resigned myself to the notion that we would likely have fertility issues.

BFP story: I finished birth control in June this year and we decided to NTNP. I'm very in touch with my cycles because I used to do a temp chart so I tend to know when I'm ovulating just by symptoms and dates alone - CP and CM haven't ever told me anything of a predictive nature honestly.

LMP = 11/1/2014
1-5DPO = mild cramping, which I usually experience during my TWW as my lining builds
6-9DPO = light spotting only when I wiped - which was normal for me - except it was slightly pinkish instead of brown (clue #1); sore BBS, which is also a normal part of PMS for me
10DPO = spotting suddenly disappeared and I was dry as a bone (clue #2); BBS still sore but no more than usual
11DPO = desperately in need of fried chicken (clue #3); still mildly cramping and sore BBS; felt a little under the weather but again, nothing abnormal. I complained to my co-worker that I was feeling grumpy. Later that night out of nowhere I had a full-on mental breakdown about my "suspected infertility" that resulted in some WebMDing (horrible idea at the best of times; clue #4). I went to hot yoga and regained my sanity after a good night's sleep. Ahhh sweet relief.
12DPO = cramping, sore BBS, still no spotting which would normally be increasing in intensity by now as AF comes; had to take a nap after work (clue #5); extremely vivid dreams and I feel like I'm "running hot" to the point where I made my husband turn down the heat (clue #6)
13DPO = cramping; BBS a little less sore; desperately in need of penne pasta for lunch and went to great lengths to acquire it; again had to take a nap after work; went out for dinner and vomited a small amount right afterward from the indigestion (clue #7); very vivid dreams and still running hot
14DPO = no cramping; BBS sore again; still running hot; ravenously hungry yet experiencing indigestion; very thirsty but can't quench it; passed out in my arm-chair even though I had a good night's sleep; dreams still vivid and abstract. Also - and this was a strange thing for me to notice - my dogs were ALL OVER me, sleeping on my stomach, acting suckier than usual, not leaving me side. I told my husband that I thought they were acting weird. Oh and where the heck is AF?! (clue #8)
15DPO (this morning) = still no sign of AF, BBS less tender but still full feeling, cramping in my right ovary area, had very vivid dreams yet again last night but this time I dreamt I took a pg test and it was positive. I woke up and after a few minutes of letting my thoughts go wild I grew some lady-balls, snuck out of bed and took the FRER test. I watched it instantly turn BFP - like WAY before the control line showed up - and it's much darker than the control line. Shock and giggles ensued.

My symptoms have certainly not been as obvious and severe as I expected they would be. In fact they are nearly indistinguishable from my normal PMS symptoms for the most part (I know, I hate reading this in posts too, sorry ladies!). The only things that I'd classify as "different" are the fact that my usual TWW spotting stopped (was probably IB in reality) and that my BBS are still full and sore at a time when it should be subsiding, signalling the arrival of AF. Next step: conquering the first trimester!

Thank you again ladies for all your support. I'm sincere when I say do NOT give up hope. The female body is miraculous. If you have any questions or if I'm omitted something glaringly obvious please please please don't hesitate to ask. Christmas babies to you all xoxo.

BFP with low ovarian reserve au natural..

Hi all,
I thought I would share my story so that others who are in the same situation can have some hope. I am 39 ( and 3/4!!) and have a 3 1/2 year old son. We were lucky to conceive on first try with no 1 and I had a Mirena put in when he was 6 weeks old as we were not sure if/when we wanted no 2. Well, we did decide to go for no 2 earlier on this year so I had the Mirena removed in April and let nature take its course. We used protection for the first few months while my body got itself sorted out then in July this year I decided to go have my hormones checked to ensure that all was working ok.

What came back was that I had an AMH level of 5.8 pmol/L ( 0 - 13.9 is the range considered for low ovarian reserve) and it was recommended that I go and have a chat to a fertility specialist as I would more that likely have problems conceiving naturally. I was a little upset but not really surprised given my age, but we just went for it and it took 5 months to get a BFP.

The first couple of months of no luck I did some reading about natural ways to boost fertility and put my self on 1500mg of Maca capsules 2 x per day as well as a vitamin b and c supplement. The last 2 months I noticed a huge improvement in my PMS symptoms and cramping ( I honestly though that I was pregnant every other month I had PMS quite badly) we also were having hormonal tracking done in the last 2 months just to see what was going on. And finally, just lots and lots of BDing before and during ovulation.

here is a list of the symptoms I did have..
CD1 Period starts after a couple of days of spotting (normal)
CD 2-5 Normal period, probably the most normal since removal of Mirena ( i.e normal flow as opposed to light)
CD 6-11 BD every day, start to notice some changed in CM, tracking suggesting that ovulation impending
CD 12 Tracking bloods indicate surge, have a date night with hubby and get busy!
CD13 - CD 19 ( DPO 1- 7) Nothing remarkable, Progesterone comes back from 7DPO test as 21, a bit bummed out as it was over 30 the previous month so ovulation wasn't guaranteed to have happened. Also normally have sore breasts by now and nothing
DPO 8. Wake up with breasts sensitive on the sides, went for a bike ride and notice some pink tinged CM on undies afterwards, get a bit suspicious.
DPO 9 Have a bad dizzy spell, needed to lie down ( I got diagnosed with Menieres disease a balance disorder when pregnant and breastfeeding my son but symptoms disappeared when he was weaned, makes me even more suspicious)
DPO 10 Feeling some cramping RHS lower abdomen, breasts still sensitive
DPO 11 Wake up with a headache and a very full bladder, feel quite thirsty all day. Cramping sensations on and off. Sensitive side boobs. Sleep the sleep of the dead that night ( I am normally a light sleeper)
DPO 12 Much the same as day before, decide to POAS after lunch, see a light line come up. Madly google FRER false positive information as am a little shocked.
DPO 13. Darker line of FRER with FMU, decide to check again at lunchtime, line still there!

Have made an appointment with my DR to confirm.

I hope this gives some of you ladies hope.. Good luck and baby dust to all!!

I've been stalking this site since we started trying again in September. I miscarried in August after a 12 week pregnancy, it was horrible =( We've been trying since and I've used EVERYTHING to increase our chances, temping, OPK's, Clomid, Preseed, checking cervix, you name it! I know everyone says "you'll get pregnant when you stop trying" (which I HATE, because you can't not try, especially after a loss!), but I'm proof that the statement is NOT TRUE!

Symptoms:

1DPO: Temp 97.75, watery CM. AF-like cramps, pain on left side (were I O'd from), gas, bloated.

2DPO: Temp 97.9, sticky CM. Right side cramping now?? Craving SALT, soooo hungry!

3DPO: Temp 98.24, lots of super creamy CM. Really bad AF cramps, gas, tired.

4DPO: Temp 98.28, lots of super creamy CM. Light AF cramps, bloated.

5DPO: Temp 97.86 (light temp drop), creamy CM with tiny bit of pink spotting

6DPO: Temp 98.23, creamy CM. gas, bloody nose, pulls & pinching on right side low back pain, aching (IMPLANTATION?)

7DPO: Temp 98.43, dry CM with a tiny bit of brown spotting. Still craving salt like crazy, light AF cramping, going #2 a lot, normally constipated during TWW (TMI, sorry!)

8DPO: Temp 98.79 (woah temp spike!), creamy CM, wait is that a bit of EWCM too? Weird. Drank last night at 10 year reunion (feel guilty now), really bad AF cramps, thinking the witch is coming early, so bad I had to leave work! Maybe this was actually implantation? BFN with mid-day urine =(

9DPO: Temp 98.5, dry CM. Came down with a sore throat & cough (this happened with my last pregnancy too!). Left armpit sore, no other symptoms...Another BFN with FMU, really feel like I'm out now =(

10DPO: Temp 98.56, creamy CM with a bit of EWCM again?! Sore throat is bad now, both ovaries feel like they are burning!?? After burning stops, left side starts aching. Wondering what kind of circus is going on in there?! Achy AF cramps in bed at night, told hubby we were out. Too scared to test today, decided to wait for the witch to show.

11DPO: Temp 98.48 (weird bc it usually drops by now for AF), dry CM. Woke up and AF cramps are gone, weird. Checked cervix (it had been high the whole luteal phase), it actually dropped today like it does before AF so I KNEW I was out. I stomped around the bath room and decided to POAS (Wondof) just to prove to myself that I was out...looked quick and it was negative, came back, WAIT a light line is there?!?? Took another test, low and behold two beautiful (but light) lines! Danced around the house, kissed the floor and THANKED GOD for this beautiful blessing after our terrible loss.

*Went for HCG blood test two hours after testing, levels were 24, praying they increase and this baby sticks!

What we did different this month:
I was already charting temps, using OPK's, Preseed, and checking cervix, but this month I focused on really ENJOYING BD with hubby. This was also my first month trying Clomid! Last few months I was so worried about getting pregnant that I forgot about enjoying the process =) Oh, I also at pineapple core from 1DPO-5DPO, not sure if this helped?

Biggest Clues:
Pink & brown tinted CM between 5-7DPO, weird "implantation pain" at 6DPO, strong AF cramping, EWCM in luteal phase.

Also, proof that GOD is good, 2 hours after I got my BFP, an old co-worker (who I haven't spoke to in 2 years) texted me and said she had a dream last night that I had a little boy with lots of blonde hair and blue eyes (CRAZY!), also my sister told my mother the morning of my BFP (before I even knew) that she wanted to buy me a "congrats" card because she just KNEW I was pregnant...I told her the news 2 hours later....those can't just be coincidences!

Baby dust & prayers for everyone!

11 dpo could it really be?

My husband and I have been trying for 2.5 years now with no luck. Last night I decided to test because I usually spot 3 days then my period comes. This month I had the same spotting but this time it didn't get heavier. My boobs are a bit sore but that's normal. I took the test last night at first there was only one line about an hour later I checked it again and there are 2. I am just so nervous that is not real. I have taken many tests over the last 2 years and never had I had 2 lines!

Prayers works!

Been reading so many stories in this website that gave me hope and I promises that when my turn will come I' ll post my story to inspired other.

After 3 and 1/2 year of trying I got a BFP on Dec 2nd at CD 31 and 4 days late. This was on my so natural cycle, meaning no fertile aide of any kind and I mean NONE. BD a week before ovulation, the day of O, and 4 days later. So I believe that conception occurs on day of O. I was in no trying and not preventing mode, since I was scheduled to start IVF treatment on January 2015. Went for IVF in Belgium in January this year but didn't went trough the process cause hubby couldn't get to Belgium in time. But had a polyps removed while in Belgium to prepare me for IVF. Was put back in Clomid for 6 months in the mind time from April to September and nothing. Decide to take it easy while waiting on IVF for January so didn't take any medication to clean out my system to be ready for IVF.

But there is two thing I will give credit for this miracle, 1st prayers and never stop believing God faithfulness. Did surrender my self with all bible verses on fertility in my closet, declaring it every day every time my eye payed on it!!!
2nd For some reason hubby and I were so busy that I realize now that we didn't have Intercourse all month of Oct. So abstinence may have strengthen is sperms.
Didn't test earlier cause I felt my usual AF cramps and started spotting and was convince she will show. Was 2 days late when spotting started and 2 days later still didn't start so I bought a dollars test and the test line showed up before the control line and was just stunned.
Sorry for the long story but I had to give you some details to this... I have to say it still surreal but I guess it will sinck in a couple of days, your are among the first among the first person to know. Hubby will be next . Thanking God for all of you ladies cause each and everyone of your prayers made a difference. Thank a lot a God bless

I am officially one of those people who KNEW I was pg only a few days after conception. Aside from the sore boobs and heartburn... I had some not so obvious ones that made it obvious to me that something was up.

I had the worst shortness of breath! I couldn't even get through my sons bedtime prayers without gasping for air. My heart also seemed to be pounding in odd patterns. Turns out this IS a symptom of early pregnancy and I am perfectly healthy. I also had terrible calf cramps in the pm...

I also spotted at 6dpo (implantation)

Took dollar store preg texts on 10 & 11dpo and got BFNs

Tried not to be too discouraged... Took a FRER at 13dpo and got dark BFP!!!

Listen to your body. When you know, you know!

BFP on cycle #9, natural

My story is ordinary and that is why I'm sharing it, because I would have loved to find more just like it when my natural TTC entered its 9th cycle.

- always had regular cycles, 26-28 days
- fertile CM
- 33, DH 45 no known medical conditions
- charting since 2012 (more than 2 years)
- I started with prenatal vitamins 3 months prior to TTC
- picked up regular exersise (aqua fitness)
- paid attention to a healthy diet: lots of water/green tea, lots of green leafy food, bright red veggies, eggs, lentils, you name it. We've got a great take away bistro close to were I work
- I even started taking royal jelly arround cycle 7
- we tryed OPKs
- we tried "toconceive" lubricant via Kindara
- we (I) did the headstand after intercourse
- we did the relaxed atmospheare, dinner date BD

One could say (my DH) I was a bit obsessed. But I never felt obsessed. I felt I wanted to provide the best start possible for baby and it never felt like a chore. 6 cycles (7 months, we left one cycle out due to x-rays) went bye and we were in all good spirits b/c BD really is a lot of fun!

But after 6+ cycles you get ready for the real thing. Every additional cycle that follows, is getting less fun and more worries. Telling DH, in a slightly upset voice, about AF again, prompted rather insensible feedback: Don't stess. Trying to find comfort online did not 100% work because all the sucess stories of 6 or more months TTC contained somthing along the following lines:

- After my first cycle of Clomid...
- After we quitt trying, and came to terms with it...
- when I moved to a different departement
- pregnant during a month I didn't pay attention to my cycle...
- when I was preoccupied with a family issue....
- When my first OBGYN appointement for fertility issues was coming up...
- after 2 miscarriages, ... on our 3rd IVF,....on our 4th IUI,...

There was always something that triggerd it. But what if nothing triggers it? What if I'm simply happy and healthy and whished for a BFP, allowed myself to think about it, wanted it and was good and ready to go? It seemed, only those get pregnant that give up on it, those that had expirienced losses, those that turned to medical help.

What about the healthy couples? Is there ever a healthy couple that suceeds after many, many months of TTC or is it mandatory to have some kind of story?

And then my best friend got pregnant. On her first try. My god. Heavy news to digest but happy of course!
I was extremely excited for them from the start (I knew they stared TTC). If I were upset it was only because of my part in the story. Not wishing she weren't pregnant, but wishing I was.

The feeling that something was off with either me or DH was creeping in again, when it should be so easy as to just do it once and BHAM! With the following cycle, having had the TWW just ahead of me, we got taught differenty. I had some slight spotting at 6/7dpo, already having me fly high through the roof. Followed by the confirmation of two beautiful red lines on 13dpo. Thrilled beyond everything!!!

So there is hope for the "non-story"couple. You also don't need to give up on all the feelings that come along with TTC and surpress them. Have feelings, obsess a little, BFP might sometimes take a little longer but the time comes when all is in order, cells will happy and healthy melt together, tubes will transport it forward, no vibrations will be able to rock that fertilized egg and a baby will start growing in your womb as it has allways meant to be. It has happened to me, it will happen to you!

Hope for all you ladies showing NO symptoms!!!

First off, let me start by saying my husband and I have been TTC for a few months now and last month I had all the "signs" of early pregnancy... fatigue, food aversions, twinges on left side, sore boobs, literally everything. Needless to say I started my period right on time :(. We tried again this month. I have an app on my phone that I have used to track my periods for the last year and half and my app said I was to ovulate on December 6th. Just to make sure my phone was really accurate I also bought a ClearBlue Ovulation test, I got my smiley face on the 6th! That being said, here are the symptoms I noticed this month:

1-4 DPO: NOT A THING!
5 DPO: Extremely bloated
6 DPO: Still extremely bloated with light cramping.
7 DPO: NOTHING!
8 DPO: Boobs just a little bit sore
9 DPO: Woke up this morning with a very very painful sore throat, major chest congestion, and my boobs hurt really bad
10 DPO: Still very sick with sore throat, chest congestion, cough, headache, I was very very tired by 7 pm so I went to bed. My boobs still hurt and I had hot flashes in the morning at work. Took a pregnancy test that night at home and got a BFN.
11 DPO: Still sick but has turned into a sinus/head cold. I had major nasal congestion and coughing, hot flashes in the morning, and boobs only hurt a little bit.
12 DPO: Still very congested and coughing. Went to the bathroom and noticed the smallest amount of light pink/brownish CM. Boobs hurt a little bit. Took pregnancy test later that evening at home and got a BFN.
13 DPO: Still very congested and coughing. Nasal congestion is the worst it has been all week!! Went to the bathroom and noticed one bright pink spot of blood mixed with CM when I wiped. I thought for sure AF was on her way because she was due the next day and I usually spot for about 4-5 days before AF makes her appearance. All throughout the evening I was having very strange dull, light cramps all over my abdominal area, some more focused on the right side.
14 DPO: Woke up this morning and nasal congestion is a bit better and coughing is now a minimum. AF is supposed to be here now and she is not here. I show no signs of her coming. No spotting, no back ache, no cramping, NOTHING. Those are all my usual tell tale signs she is on her way. My period is NEVER late. It ALWAYS starts on the day my app says it will and she is not here yet. So, I took a pregnancy test just see what would happen and I got a BFP! It's a faint positive but it's there. (much harder to see in the photo than in real life)

So, to sum things up, this month the only pregnancy symptom I noticed was sore boobs which I get before AF shows up anyway. And I was sick so I blamed the hot flashes and tiredness on that. Since AF is supposed to start today (Dec. 20) and the day is not over yet, I will take another test tomorrow if she does not show today.

Good luck to all you wonderful ladies!!! And remember, just because you don't show any symptoms does mean you are out!! :)

BFP cycle no 4 and 2 equivocal progesterone results

Amazing to post my story on here!

I came off BCP in January and started trying in September. Due to my spotting before my periods I had 2 21 day progesterone tests which were both equivocal so was very pessimistic. Here's what happened, focused on cycle days as I was ill this month with a fever do couldn't be sure on DPO's:-

CD18 - brown spotting (4DPO??)
CD19 - brown spotting
CD20 - brown spotting temp right down - 36.3 only
CD21 - v light brown spotting temp 36.7
CD22 - nothing, tummy starting to feel niggly, fleshy spotting, sore nipples (9 DPO?)
CD23 - dryish, sore nipples and boobs slightly, pm starting to feel periody in abdomen. Temp 36.7
CD24 - tested as a precaution as I exercise extremely intensely on Thursdays as I'm with an athletics club BFP clear blue plus!!
Unbelievable! Boobs still tender (10/11DPO?) pm negative on boots cheapie, periody
CD25 - BFP clear blue digi!! Sore boobs, creamy cm (11/12 DPO)
CD26 - BFP boots cheapie, creamy cm, sore boobs about the same

So 21 day results might not be the end of the world .... I felt awful after I got mine. So happy now.

Good luck everyone!

Just a feeling I had

Like I'm sure many of you, I feel a ton of impatience when ttc, so I wanted to know the moment my body could tell me I was pregnant with baby #2. I used this board over the last few days, and I also consulted it before my first pregnancy, so I really wanted to contribute in case it helps any other 2wwers out there. This was our first month of 'not preventing', so I really didn't pay close attention to much until NYE, when I started to feel symptoms; hence, the dpo might be slightly off (but only by a day). I usually have a 28 day cycle, but last month's was randomly 30 days (first time ever since my daughter was born), so I assume that this month's was also 28 days. My period is due tonight/tomorrow a.m., but I got a bfp this afternoon.

1dpo- not paying attention, so nothing?
2dpo-not paying attention, so nothing?
3dpo-not paying attention, so nothing?
4dpo-not paying attention, so nothing?
5dpo-not paying attention, so nothing?
6dpo-not paying attention, so nothing?
7dpo-not paying attention, so nothing?
8dpo-some af-type cramps. Really? This early? No spotting so far....seems unlikely. Could it be something else? :)

9dpo- NYE. Woke up with mild cramps again. Took temp for 'fun' immediately after waking. 97.8. Check old records from 1st pregnancy. I only charted for 1 week back then, but my temp was the exact same back during the week of implantation in 2012. Interesting. Watery cm. EWCM after bm - 2 tiny streaks of blood in it. No more after that for rest of day. Want to drink tonight, so pick up a test at the store. If it comes back -ve, I should be good to go (I know it sounds bad, but we didn't really bd a ton around O - only a few times, and I got up right away almost every time. def. not like last pregnancy!) BFN, so party is on! Feel great all night until just before bed. Hungry, so I eat all kinds of stuff, but nothing is very appealing. Feeling a little queasy, but nothing really notable unless you're paying attention.

10dpo-NYD. Woke up at 3 a.m. bed at 2:30 a.m. feeling nauseous. Had some drinks, but definitely didn't feel drunk going to bed. Can't be a hangover already! Back to bed. Restless and ran to washroom several times until 7:30, when I was violently ill with vomiting and diarrhea. I remembered a family friend who was violently ill after drinking when she was newly preggers but didn't know about it. Dh knows the story too, and we bought thought 'hmmmm'. Took a FRER - bfn. Still don't believe it. Just seems like it's happening. Dh notices veins on boobs are a little noticeable - same as last time! They are also sore (normal before af). Call me stupidly optimistic. watery cm.

11dpo-watery cm most of day. Became pinkish in colour after bd with dh. Kind of freaked out. AF on way?! I refuse to believe it.

12dpo-couldn't shake the feeling that I was pregnant. Dry most of the day, but some ewcm at night. Pink was completely gone when I woke up. Temp still high (97.8 this am). Some food aversions (like chocolate cake - seriously!? Who refuses chocolate cake?), so I went out to buy a dollar-store test. Sold out. Went to another Dollar Store. Sold out. Caved and bought a 2 pack of tests (oops- bought blue dye) from drug store on way home. Hope dh isn't mad. Instant VERY faint line, but looks like it could be an evap. line. DH thinks it could be the real deal. Darkens as time goes on, so I really think it's evap.

13dpo- Woke up with need to pee at 5:30 a.m. Don't want to get up, because I don't want to test till later. If I test now, I'll never fall back to sleep. In and out of sleep till 7:30am. Dream about +ve pregnancy test a couple of times. Have to pee soooo badly! Very faint bfp with fmu, but was with the 2nd blue dye test, so held urine for 4.5 hrs, had dh buy a FRER, and got a bfp.

A couple of years ago, we weren't even sure if we could have a baby (dh had a vasectomy). Try to stay stupidly optimistic, and be sure to have a healthy outlet for stress (and maybe the occasional unhealthy one - wine is great for this ;). Good luck.

PS. If you see something - no matter how faint - on a blue dye test within the allotted time (before 10 mins is up), go with it. It could be your bfp! I spent the last day looking a evap lines online, and became discouraged for nothing!
