I am in total shock right now!! Although we have only really been TTC for two cycles now, I really was getting frustrated. I have long 39 day cycles and was afraid that since I typically ovulate on CD24, by that time my eggs were old and no good. Well that is not the case! This month, I started taking Vitex, but I stopped at O. It was very frustrating because I didn't get my normal EWCM this month, and I blamed that on the Vitex. I was not going to take it next cycle. Since I had little to no EWCM I really was sure we were out this month.
To top it all off my sister who is my absolute best friend also just found out she was pregnant three days ago! This is crazy! Anyways, even though I was trying really hard not to analyze my symptoms, the last few days have had me really wondering what was going on down there!
1-9 dpo - Nothing worth noting. I did have some creamy cm but I've had that my last few cycles (another reason I didn't think I was preggers.)
10 dop - Hubby and I went out to eat, I had 3 beers. I came home and was sitting at the computer when I felt a really strange zinging feeling on the left side of my uterus. Immediately after that, a wave of nausea came over me. The nausea lasted about 10 minutes. When it passed, sat there wondering what it was. Could it be implantation? I surely had never felt anything like that before.
11 dpo - Felt some little pinching feelings in the same spot I felt the zing. Told myself to stop over analyzing every little feeling.
12 dpo - 2 little spots of bright red blood when I wiped in the morning. Was that just implantation bleeding? I was sure it wasn't, it had been 2 days since the zing. No spotting after that one time. The sides of my tummy felt sore that night, like I had done some side crunches or something. I hadn't worked out since Tuesday so I thought that was a bit strange.
13 dpo- My sister found out she was pregnant! I was very happy for her but couldn't help but be a little jealous at the same time. Hubby assured me that it would happen for us when it was meant to happen. took a clear blue test - BFN. I was sure I was out. Was still feeling that little pinching sensation in the same spot and my sides were still a bit sore.
14 dpo - Thought my period might come today, but it never came. Was slightly crampy, but they were not AF cramps. my back hurt a little bit.
15 dpo - Really expected AF To arrive today, but she didn't! Still convinced I wasn't pregnant, I was getting really mad that she didn't come. I told myself that if she was just late and i was not PG I was going to make a dr. appt to see what is going on and why my cycles are so long.
16 dpo - Felt that strange pinching pretty much all morning today. was generally pretty uncomfortable at work sitting at my desk. I felt nauseous through my 3:00 meeting and couldn't wait to leave work. I just about fell asleep in the meeting too. On my way home I decided to stop and get some tests. Pondered if i should take it now, or with FMU to be sure. Was totally expecting a negative, but when the second line slowly appeared - I pretty much hyperventilated and ran and showed hubby. He was in denial:) I am still in denial!!!
