Hi All!

I can't believe I am finally writing this. My husband and I have been TTC for over a year. My periods were pretty much non-existent other than occasional spotting, so I knew my chances were pretty much 0. 6 months ago, I was diagnosed with PCOS. I am 5,4", 135 pounds, no insulin resistance, so not your typical PCOS. I was shocked. I was put on Progesterone cycle days 14-28 to induce periods, and she said it may throw me into a cycle. Several months ago I got a positive OPK and was so excited but my progesterone came back at 5 and I was told I did not ovulate. Last month, after TTC 1 year, I was put on clomid 50 my. I got a positive OPK on day 18 and my progesterone came back at 17.5! We BD'd almost every day the week and a half before I ended up ovulating and the day I ovulated. We also used pre-seed because I don't have a lot of CM.

I was sure I wouldn't get pregnant the first month, although it was hard not to symptom spot. I also temped. My bbt dropped on day 18 and spiked after that. I had a dip in my bbt around 5 dpo and got my faint but positive BFP on first response on 9 dpo (on our first day of vacation with my family).

My symptoms:
-DPO 1-8: sore nipples from the time I ovulated, but this was most likely from ovulation because it faded away when I got my BFP.
-9 DPO morning: told my sister I thought I was out this month. Very little symptoms and didn't "feel" pregnant.
-9 DPO afternoon: weird twinges/cramping in my uterus. Wanted to drink a beer on the beach but had this feeling I should test first. Tested in the middle of the day with only a 1 hour hold and got my BFP! I was in shock!
10 DPO - now: AF-like cramping comes and goes. My OB says it's totally normal.
13 DPO: some light pink/red spotting when I wiped but it went away the next day. Could have been do to intercourse.
17 DPO: BETA 378 :)
5 weeks pregnant: my breasts became very full and super tender. It hurts to even walk down the stairs.

I am now 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Still crampy occasionally and sharp jolts to my pubis. I am so happy. Hang in there ladies. I know it feels like it will never happen, and my heart goes out to everyone who struggles with infertility. I know many have a harder road than myself. Baby dust to all. Fingers crossed that I will have an uneventful 9 months!
