Hi Ladies,
Yesterday I got my BFP. Things seemed to align this month. I ov'd right before I had a big holiday, I have been surrounded by babies and preg friends and finally decided to be happy for them and not envious... I had a miscarriage in January. After the m/c I went into panic mode decided to buy every vitamin and fertility aid in the book. Prior to the MC I had regular cycles. I couldn't understand why they were so irregular after the miscarriage. I was ovulating 2x in a month, my cycles were up to 40 days! It was so frustrating. I spoke to a friend who works in the medical field and she mentioned that vitamins can shock your system and cause irregularities! One month after I stopped taking prenatals and a B50complex my cycle was completely normal. OV'd on day 15 and got my BFP.
1-6 DPO- Nothing
7 DPO - Slight breakout
8 DPO - Breast tenderness (1 breast only?) Exhaustion
9 DPO - Weepy, breast tenderness increasing, creamy CM, hot flashes, cramps, no energy at the gym
10 DPO -At the cottage, had a party weekend, breasts seemed huge, mid-back pain, exhaustion, creamy mixed with ewcm cm
11 DPO - 12 DPO - Hot flashes, back pain, breast tenderness/fullness, cramps, frequent urination, blood when I brushed my teeth
13 DPO - AF like cramps, hot flashes, exhaustion, slight brownish spotting only when checking cevx (thought it was for sure AF), got a pregnancy test, thinking once it was negative I'd buy a big bottle of wine and husband and I would plan for next month. I brought the test into work, snuck it into the bathroom and holy it was positive, like really positive. In total shock!
My biggest lesson after having a miscarriage is... don't think you can get preg right away. My new doctor says he advises patients to allow at least three months for their hormones to regulate. My initial doctor told me I could get preg right away and it caused me lot of stress. Also, maybe hold off on the vitamins, especially if you never used them before. I think If I was still ODing on vits that I wouldn't be where I am now. I hope it all works out. It is very exciting. Good luck ladies and just know it will happen :)
