So thankful that I finally get to post my BFP! I wanted to make sure that I did it because I know that when we were desperately ttc I scanned these stories looking for anyone who shared my symptoms. I always felt hope when I read symptoms that were similar to mine and I want to do the same for you.
After a year of ttc and a lot of heartache in the long process, we decided to seek fertility treatment this August. I went through all of the testing, blood work, and had an HSG done to see if my tubes were open. Everything came back completely normal and we were told that it was unexplained infertility and that we would begin treatment after I started my period the next month. I began spotting 3 days ago and called the reproductive clinic to let them know so we could begin treatment once I got full flow the next day. The only thing is, I never got full flow. Nothing. Not even a single drop. So this morning my husband talked me into taking a pregnancy test even though I protested thinking it would ruin our weekend together when it came back a bfn, but instead was truly shocked when it came back a BFP! We are overjoyed and owe it all to God. These past few weeks I had learned that I needed to not only trust God's plan, but trust God's perfect timing.
Here are my symptoms:
1 DPO: Very tender nipples, confirming ovulation.
2 DPO-6 DPO: Nothing
7 DPO: Very greasy hair and skin
8 DPO: Nothing
9 DPO: Cyst like pain on my left side, breasts slightly achy, and it feels a little like my period is about to start.
10 DPO: While working out in the morning, I was surprised how quickly I got worn out and out of breath. While teaching, I feel dizzy throughout the day. Breasts are tender and sore when I push on them.
11 DPO: Still getting worn out quickly, dizziness while teaching, breasts tender and sore. When I went to the bathroom in the afternoon, I noticed slight spotting. Assumed it was my period on its way and called the reproductive clinic.
12 DPO: Period never started and bbt takes a sudden spike up. Still fatigued, dizzy, and breasts are sore. Uterus feels achy and is cramping. My stomach was growling when I woke up this morning. Very confused.
13 DPO: BFP in the morning and again in the evening!
