BFP After 14 Months TTC!

This post is for all of you ladies who have been trying for a long time. It is one of the most emotional things I have gone through and I know what it's like to lose hope month after month. I'm 26 and DH is 29.. This is our first baby..We are both healthy and no known fertility issues.. God just decided to make us wait a bit! :) Gods timing is right and his plan is perfect!

This was my first BFP ever after trying for 14 months, which is way longer than I ever imagined it would take but DH and I learnt so much during our journey.. I wouldn't change a thing.. God knows what he's doing. Anyways enough blabbing.. Here are my symptoms..
AF was suppose to come on Jan 8th and I started spotting brown and cramping just like AF on Jan 3rd at about 8dpo.. This is how AF always starts for me so I assumed AF was early and I was out. Well fast forward to Jan 22nd and I was still spotting.. Mostly brown and fairly light.. But enough for a panty liner. My boobs were sore but I put the idea of being pregnant out of my mind because of the spotting.
I had a doctor's appointment on Jan 22nd to go over blood test and ultrasound results that my Dr had ordered to see if there was a reason why I wasn't getting pregnant. She asked me what my period was like this month since my prolactin levels were very high and my uterine lining was very thick (both signs of pregnancy) When I told her I had been spotting for 3 weeks but my period hadn't actually come, she had me do a urine pregnancy test.. And to my surprise it was positive! I was in shock. She said that spotting during pregnancy is common but told me to take it easy for a while.
DH and I are trying not to get too excited since we are a little worried about the spotting and cramping but I really hope this is a sticky bean!
I'm about six weeks right now and my only symptoms from 8dpo have been sore boobs, cramping, and spotting. I should also add we used preseed for the first time this cycle.
I hope my story encouraged some of you ladies.. Don't ever lose hope! Sometimes it just takes time, and it doesn't mean that something is wrong. I hope you all get your BFP's very soon!
