I am still being cautiously optimistic, since I only just got my first bright, big fat positive this morning with FMU. I have a history of chemical pregnancies, but I have never had a HPT become this bright this early! I'm 10dpo!
What I noticed first was at 8dpo, I had some pastel pink in my CM accompanied with some cramping on my right side. I knew enough to know that this was "implantation bleeding" or "implantation spotting" and I REALLY hoped it was. Turns out I was right! I had cramps all day 9dpo, and they've eased a little so far at 10dpo. I figured 10dpo would be ok to test, since they say HCG should have doubled by that time.
I have inappropriate bursts of energy--like at 1am, deciding that I needed to pack the bookcase in the living room, then waking up at 6am for no reason. I'm burping, get a little queasy sometimes. I get sweaty easily, and seem to overheat easily. Then after I overheat, I feel a little chilly.
Things I did differently: I ran out of OPK's and just decided to wing it based on my cervical mucus for this cycle instead of ordering new. I stopped charting my temp, just because we're moving right now and it seemed like another hassle I didn't want right now. I used MUCINEX. Oh my lord this made a HUGE difference in the quality of my CM! I was one of these girls who thought she had pretty good EWCM--but I guess it can always be better! It's worth trying anyway! I took it the mornings of my fertile period, and took it for two days after my fertile period ended (couldn't hurt to help the eggie glide down the tube, I thought! lol)
Other symptoms, the feeling of lumpier breast tissue behind my nipples, colostrum (yes! colostrum!), light cramping, queasiness, insomnia, and IT'S ALL AMAZING! I'm just praying that this is a sticky valentine!
